An Extraordinary Project by Emma Kate

On the blog today we are featuring this gorgeous 12x12 project from Emma Kate. The layout features the September kit big word “extraordinary.” It’s such a beautiful piece and works with many past and present paper collections like the adorable one Emma chose for this story. Now let’s hear all about it from Emma.

“Hey Color Cast Fam, I'm here to share my layout using the 'Extraordinary' acrylic title from the September kit. I had the perfect photo for this, what's more extraordinary than a giant courgette!”

“My layout was all about the layering in this case, using lots of lovely ephemera from the DLS 'Splendid' collection. A little pumpkin poking out here, a label poking out there, I could have added more but us memory keepers have to know when to stop.”

“To compliment the title I decided to mount the entire page onto a patterned paper of the same colour, creating a frame of sorts. I often do this with my layouts, I just feel it brings it all together in a nice 12x12 squared bundle.”
