Acrylic vs Wood Veneer: Why Not Use Both?!

On the blog today we are sharing Cassie’s beautiful layout using wood veneer and acrylic pieces included in the February 2022 Everything Kit subscription. Layering is a great way to mix more than one type of embellishment medium in your design.

The wood veneer hearts anchor each of Cassie’s photo bundles and lead us around the layout. Cassie notes, “I knew when I saw these adorable wood hearts that they would be perfect as embellishments on different photos.”

And stamping on both sides of the “noteworthy” acrylic lead the eye to the layout title.

Cassie chose these particular pieces because she “loves how the wood and acrylic pieces look when mixed together.” We love the effect too and all the colorful layers in this traditional 12x12 layout.
