You Color My World Exclusive

Hello CCD fans,

I was super excited when Jessica posted the exclusive March kit acrylic, “you color my world.” Color has the power to influence physiological responses including our mood, heart rate, and appetite. So, when we tell a person they color our world, it’s a BIG deal! These are the people that make life crazy amazing and magical. The project I am sharing today is about two of those very special people in my life.

I started my layout with a 12x12 foundation page made with the Blooming Wild collection by Paige Taylor Evans. I made this background in one of Paige’s classes last year and I love the meshing of all the different patterned papers. Note, creating a stash of foundation pages is a great way to help yourself through times when your mojo is depleted.

Next, I placed my photo and started adding items from the collection until I was happy with the arrangement. Confession, I auditioned many different items and placements but decided simple was best.

The photos of my husband and son together for the first time in three years made my heart very happy and that is when I realized the “you color my world” acrylic was the perfect title.
