One Final Project Share with our March Kit Exclusive Acrylic, You Color My World

Hello friends,

It’s a good day to be happy! The reason Emma Kate is here with us for the second day in a row and she is sharing this stunning layout with the bright and beautiful “You Color My World” exclusive acrylic from our March kits. Emma created a traditional 12x12 spread with lots of fun details for her project. Now let’s hear more about it from Emma.

“Hey Color Cast Fam, I would like to share this colourful layout out with you today using my favourite piece from the February release 'You Color My World'. This is a great title to document that special someone in your life, for me it's my little girl Bea.”

“I began with splitting my page into quarters (not quite equal) on the diagonal using patterned paper from the 'Kaliedoscope' collection from 49th and Market. I distressed the edges & machine stitched around of each triangle to create texture.”

“I then layered my photo slightly left of my page using ephemera from the same collection which would balance out the 'You Color My World' title slightly to the right of the page. I typed out my journalling using the 'Palatino Linotype' font within Word then cut into strips & placed them underneath the title.”

“To finish, as always I added a sprinkling of gems & sequins, along with 2 butterflies & a bird from the ephemera pack. The 'You Color My World' title is such a great acrylic piece, all the colours lending themselves well to coordinate with the many photos you may have.”

“Until next time, much love, Em x”
