October is My Favorite Month

Hello friends,

I’m a little behind on my story album and just starting my October section. Today I am sharing an opening page with a past Color Cast Design acrylic as my title. I have a serious love of autumn and a few stashed items in my fall CCD storage case which is where I found the title for my spread.

I placed my acrylic on a solid color because I wanted it to stand out from the background paper I chose for my double page spread. To create texture I cut out leaves from my background paper and used foam tape to give them height and placed over clusters of leaves on the background paper for my title pocket.

The remainder of my layout includes additional fussy cut leaves and journaling on kraft paper.
