Autumn Wood Veneer Love

Hello friends,

I am sharing an 8.5x11 layout with an autumn theme today. The photo in this layout was taken at peak leaf season in Michigan and I was super excited that my husband agreed to be in the photo with our pup Haley.

This layout started with a stencil and some texture paste. Then I cut out leaves with a few patterned papers and decided on the ledger stripe. I cut out a few more leaves on white cardstock and then a dark color to give the leaves a bit of a shadow.

Next, I auditioned several items from our November everything kit and my heart chose the love wood veneer. I super love the darker layer in the middle of the lighter wood.

Finally, I added a bit of stamping, a few gold dots, and my journaling in a dark brown on matte sticker paper.
