Layouts with Big Words

Hello friends,

I’m sharing a 12x12 layout made with one of the big words from our May shop release. I wanted to have a lot of white space in this grid design so that my photos stood out because they were only 2x2 sized. My layout is about the beautiful fuchsia blooms on the trees in our neighborhood. I wanted to use tiny elements on my layout to balance the big acrylic title. I used a bunch of stickers and a butterfly stamp from a CTMH kit because the size and color of the stickers were perfect for idea. Most of the design is white 12x12 cardstock with hand stitching.

One of the aspects I so appreciate about the big words is they come in pieces which allows me to fiddle with spacing and placement of the word. Here I placed the 4 pieces in a straight line but could have easily created a two-line placing, a diagonal placement, or across four squares, etc. There are endless possibilities!

Here is my final design. I love love love these big word acrylic pieces and can’t wait to create more spreads with them!
