Documenting Your December Favorites

Hello CCD friends,

With December just around the corner, I wanted to share a layout I created using the December Favorites acrylic from the 2024 Holiday Spirits collection. I'm taking a trip down memory lane by crafting a two-page 12x12 project life spread for December 2016. Revisiting my 2016 PL album after so long has been an absolute delight.

On the left page I chose to include several photos with our pup Daisy. This was her only December with us and I want to highlight all of the fun we had together before she crossed the bridge the following year.

The paper collection I am using for my 2-page spread is Vicki Boutin’s “Wrapped in Ribbons,” which is absolutely perfect. After I picked the Holiday Spirits pieces I wanted from the shop, I chose Vicki’s paper collection because it goes well all my Color Cast Design goodies.

On the opposite page I included photos from several fun adventures Mark and I had during the month as well as 3x4 flip ups made with the 6x8 papers and ephemera for additional journaling and photos. In addition, I fussy cut all of the holly used in this project from the 12x12 paper. All of the 4x6 and 3x4 cards were made with the collection paper using die cuts, fussy cutting and one ephemera pack.
