“Anywhere with You” Wood Veneer Love

Hello friends,

The “anywhere with you” wood veneer is one of my favorite items in the May everything kit and I’ve been thinking about how to use it in a layout. And then while I was cleaning out a drawer in my craft room last week, I found lots of this older travel collection from Pinkfresh Studio. I adore the ephemera and puffy stickers and decided why not use as many pieces as possible? And that’s when the idea for this spread came to me and I think the wood veneer title goes perfectly.

I decided to create the main portion of my layout on the diagonal because I no longer have patterned paper from the collection but I did have a piece of the packaging. I cut the package in half on an angle and stitched around both pieces. They frame the diagonal section where I placed my title and then filled in the area with ephemera, puffy stickers, and stamping.

This layout makes me happy because I truly would go anywhere with these people! And the bonus is I documented another photo from our 2018 trip to Hawaii.
