An ‘Extraordinary’ 6x8 Layout

Hello there CCD fans,

We’re excited to showcase a new 6x8 project by our creative team member, Tai Cortes. This charming layout and heartwarming story are sure to bring a smile to your face and inspire your next scrapbooking session. Tai used a big word acrylic on an 8.25-inch-tall page, and we absolutely love it! Check out all the details from Tai.

“In this month’s release, I loved the aqua colored “Extraordinary” title and created a layout with it first. The piece itself was longer and in my 6x8 album it fit vertically on a page.”

“I decided to print a recent photo of us attending ‘Grandparent’ night at my daughter’s school. We played bingo and went to the book fair, where they spoiled their grandchild. The larger photo measures 4 inches X 8.25 and took up about half the page. I decided on a water colored mixed media patterned paper in my stash to give some brighter colors to my layout.”

“On the opposite side I was using the backside of a previous layout and it too was 4 X 8.25 and it worked perfectly to hold my journaling and another photo from playing bingo. The embellishments on the layout are from the “reason to smile’ collection from Shimelle.”

“It is a happy, bright and fun layout of my daughter and her grandparents which is simply Extraordinary.”
