A Fantastic Traveler’s Notebook Design Idea with Large Photos

We love traveler’s notebook layouts and today creative team member Ashley is sharing this fantastic design.

“I went for simplicity on this Traveler's Notebook layout, using the August Everything Kit. I knew I wanted two large photos, and I wanted to keep the embellishing to a minimum. I printed my first photo at 5 inches wide to fit across the left hand page of my layout.”

“I used the ‘Fantastic’ acrylic under the photo and layered it over the white space at the bottom of the photo.”

“Then I tucked the wood veneer, that says ‘this place has my heart’, right under the acrylic piece. I printed a full sized photo for the right hand side of the page and didn't want to layer too much over it.”

“I used ‘the view’ wood veneer in the center of the photo, as my title, and then finished the layout with a stamped phrase and puffy sticker heart.”
