Wood Veneer: A Versatile Embellishment

Hello friends,

Today we are featuring a notebook design Ashley created with wood veneer kit items. Ashley’s layout highlights the versatility of our wood veneers.

“You've probably heard me say before, that I LOVE the thin wood veneers from CCD! They are perfect for any type of project, because they don't add a lot of bulk to your pages. I used a few of the wood veneer pieces from the January Everything Kit on this layout in my Scrap It Notebook.”

“I like to keep most of my embellishments flat in this notebook, since it has a spiral, and I want to keep the notebook as flat as possible.”

“I decided to use the Adore piece as the title of my layout, and layered it over a darker patterned paper to make it stand out. Then I added a couple of the wood veneer phrases on my photos, to bring in some more of the wood texture.“

“I love how the wood veneer pieces look with my photos and the papers on this layout!”
