Today’s Story is a Good One!

Our featured creative team design today is from Ashley and it’s super sweet! Ashley is sharing several tips and she briefly describes her creative process for this layout too.

“I love that you can use the Color Cast Designs wood veneers with any collection! The neutral wood tone works perfectly with any colors or patterns. For this Traveler's Notebook layout, I used some of the word wood veneers from the October Everything Kit as a title and journaling prompt.”

“Using the wood veneers as a title, makes it fast and easy to put your layout together. It takes the guess work out of deciding a title and the time it takes to add individual alphas.”

“I wanted to create a little variety with the journaling spot, so I adhered the word story directly to my background paper and added some dimension to the word ‘today's’ with some pop dots behind the wood veneer. I just love the way the wood veneers look with the softer colors on this layout.”
