Three Photos, Three Acrylics on a Traditional 12x12 Layout

Today we are sharing a layout created by CT member Brooke. “This month's kit was perfect for documenting when we bought our first home 4 years ago. I went a bit "old school" with this 12x12 layout with 3 photos!”

“I used watercolour splatters to create my background using the acrylic pieces as a colour guide. To make sure that my watercolours didn't mix together & turn brown (yuck!), I let each colour dry before moving onto the next.”

“Mixed Media Tip: Cover the 2 sections you aren't splattering with cardstock to protect your photos and create clean lines.”
