The Unique Stories We Tell with Kit Items

Our creative team member Shu-Wen created this lovely design with the kit favorite, “that one time” acrylic. Sometimes a specific item in a kit really speaks to many of us and yet each of the stories told with it are unique which makes that item special to us.

“I was saving the large "That One Time" acrylic for a page with lots of green on it, and this layout documenting the HUGE batch of hops that my boyfriend received from a friend.”

“I didn't notice that the letter "m" in that acrylic didn't come with the usual backer paper until I had glued all the letters down. So, if you're like me and are used to gluing down your letters with the backer paper still attached, just a quick tip to check all your letters before gluing them down! Of course, you can still go ahead with your layout like I did, with the letter "m" being see-through and the rest of the letters being opaque, but I still love how this layout turned out!”

“I paired my full-page photo with a grid-style page with some of the wood veneer pieces from this month's kit, as well as a matching "Details" arrow from one of last year's kits!”
