The Adventures in Camping Collection

Thanks for stopping by today to see our next share with the July shop release. Today I am sharing a mini album design with a shop add-on collection.

The “Adventures in Camping” set appealed to me because our son has been doing a lot of camping along the Pacific coast this year. I thought I’d share a few pages I created with the set. His first camping trip of 2022 was at Beverly Beach state park in Oregan.

I love how well these items fit with all the things I chose from my stash to embellish the pages of this story. In addition to the items I chose from the camping set, I created embellishments with stamps. For my title page I chose the “adventures in camping” acrylic and fussy cut sprigs of varying leaves to compliment the title and bring the great outdoors into the spread.

On the opposite page I stamped additional sprigs around the wood veneer tent. I thought about creating a visual triangle with the sprigs but ultimately decided to use the embellishments for this purpose.

I used additional wood veneer embellishments from the kit as bits of decoration on an envelope and journal pocket cards which I am also sharing today.
