Not So Perfectly Wicked

Hello CCD friends,

I am sharing a pocket page design using the “Perfectly Wicked” collection which is a shop add-on. When October arrives, I’m usually ready to try a different memory keeping medium for the month and this year is no exception. Today’s layout will serve as a story about me that I can place anywhere in my album.

My favorite pocket page configuration is 8x2x2 and for this story I chose to create a double-page layout. I broke into my stash and pulled out some puffy stickers and candy corn paper to go with the wood veneer’s I selected from the “perfectly wicked” set. The paper is sanded and the paper edges are inked with Tim Holtz “Vintage Photo” distress oxide.

On the left side I created a 2 pocket flip up to hold my wood veneer skeleton and to tell the “hidden” story of this layout.

I created seven little stories with my chosen wood veneers and ephemera which document the cute, sweet, and interesting side of these spooky Halloween symbols. Nothing spooky here!

Every month there are lots of wonderful items in the shop that do not require a subscription commitment including adorable, themed sets like “Perfectly Wicked'.” We hope you’ll find something that inspires you to document one of your stories! Share what you are creating with our shop items by tagging @colorcastdesigns or include our hashtag #colorcastdesigns on your social media post. Happy crafting!

~Robin
