Let’s Document the Things that Make Us Thankful

Hello CCD friends,

Today I am sharing a simple story about a weekend outing to a Harvest Day event. The best part about the event was my date. And the story I am documenting is about my gratitude for our short walk around the event with him.

I used the rainbow “Thankful” acrylic piece as my title and wood veneers from our October everything kit. I love the whimsical feel of the acrylic paired with the warmth of the wood veneer banner which was the perfect embellishment to complete my title.

The triangle rule is a simple way to ensure the viewer’s eye is drawn around a layout. This meant I needed to create two small clusters on my photo.

I used the pumpkin acrylic and wood veneer leaves with items from my stash to create the clusters.

The horizontal perspective works perfectly with this photo and I encourage you to try it!
