Interactive Layouts with Wood Veneers

Today’s lovely interactive layout is by CT member Shu-Wen. She used items from the Family Movie Time and Couch Potato collections to create her design.

“I love using wood veneer pieces as components in my interactive layouts! I decided to make an interactive spinner wheel layout using the "Currently Watching" TV wood veneer as the window to showcase some of my favorite TV shows recently, and even cut out the section behind the "Our Rating" wood veneer so that the number of stars that are filled out changes with the different TV shows when I spin the wheel.

I punched a hole through the middle of the film reel wood veneer and attached a brad through the center to hold the interactive spinner wheel together.

And lastly, I used some of the extra wood veneers that came in the kit to decorate the rest of my spread!” Shu-Wen also created a process video which we are sharing below.
