Enhancing Your Wood Veneer Titles with Stamping

Hello friends,

I'm really enjoying my 2022 10x8 story album because it allows for many layout options. The size is perfect for creating a high impact full-page design with multiple photos and a few simple embellishments. The spread I am sharing today includes photos, stamping, and a wood veneer title from the January everything kit. 

I chose the "happiness" piece from the kit because our son Rob and his girlfriend were smiling in most of the photos from this rainy camping trip back in May. I appreciate how much they enjoy going on outdoor adventures together. And the best part is they don’t let anything stop them from exploring and having fun.

To highlight my title, I used a stacked line stamp from the Kerri Bradford set, "along those lines" and stamped with New England ivy ink on both sides of my wood veneer. I love how the stamp brings attention to my title without overwhelming the photo of those smiling faces! And wood veneer embellishments are perfect for adding texture without bulk.

Yes, there is a bit of a stamping smudge, and it doesn’t bother me as nothing in my layout is perfect. I think that’s the definition of hand made.
