Custom Acrylic Layout Idea

Hello CCD fans,

A couple of months ago I ordered two custom acrylic pieces and sketched out some ideas for them. Today I am sharing one of my layouts with an acrylic that combines me and my husband’s first names.

I knew I wanted to use this paper from Blooming Wild by Paige Evans but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stitch the letters or cut them out. Ultimately, I decided to stitch the letters.

I also fussy cut a bunch of flowers from the Blooming Wild paper # 17 and used foam squares to pop up many of the flowers and the phrase ephemera items I chose for this layout. I’m still thinking about my journaling torn between a quote and my own words. The quote means a lot to me and is so perfect for this layout. “It’s the showing up that becomes the truth of your love” - Atticus.
