Collage Designs with Acrylics and Wood Veneers

Hello CCD fans,

Today we are featuring this gorgeous layout from our March guest designer, Patricia. We love Patricia’s idea and how beautifully it all fits together!

“A really fun way to use both the wood and acrylic pieces is to use them in a collage. The wood veneer over the empty space of a photo is a great way to not only fill the space but to bring some balance and texture to the photo.”

“The acrylics I used a couple of different ways. I adhered a die cut and pattern paper for a place to layer the blue acrylic on top of it. It both can be seen and also blends well giving a nice texture.”

“I used all three of the acrylic flowers. The one at the top of my photo I simply added it to complete the grid.”

“And for the other two, I used them in combination with die cuts, so I have the layering and the texture to continue on the other side.”
