Bring on the Color!

Color is a great way to express our emotions and feelings on just about any topic. When using the color wheel, its fairly easy to figure out which colors complement each other. One of our well-loved products are our rainbow acrylics and you’ll find that many of the items you want to use from paper kits and your stash can be paired with them. Today, CT member Ashley is sharing a hybrid design made with items from our June everything kit, digital papers, and distress oxide ink.

“I love it when my embellishments and papers just click! The bright colored acrylics from the June Everything Kit went perfectly with one of my digital patterned papers, so I decided to bring the color.”

“I used the Makes Me Happy acrylic piece on the left side of my page as my title, and then scattered the butterflies over some mixed media that I created with matching distress oxide inks.”

“Then I pulled colors from one of my kit collections to match the acrylics to finish embellishing my layout.”
