Traditional Layouts that Translate to Other Page Sizes

Are you a traditional 12x12 memory keeper or do you like to use a variety of page sizes? Well, the good news is, many traditional layouts translate to other sizes and can be used as a page map. This lovely rainbow design by Cassie is a perfect example.

Cassie matched up her chosen embellishments with the color of the hearts on the background. She used shape repetition to create movement around her photos and title. This helps to draw the eye into the focal point which are the photos of Cassie’s sweet pup.

Our acrylics make incorporating a page title easy and they can be used in all types of scrapbooking mediums and sizes including pocket pages. Cassie chose an acrylic as her page title that also reflects the heart shape in the background paper. She explains, “I love the detail and the mixture of fonts in this ‘So Very Happy’ acrylic piece from the February kit. I made sure to place my title piece on some white to help it stand out against all the colors in my background.”

“Of course, I had to add this cute wood veneer circle too!” The wood veneer is also a circle and supports the repetition in this layout. Cassie placed the ‘Heck Yes!’ piece on a dark piece of patterned paper that allows the phrase to stand out.
