A Yesteryear Story of Love

Hello friends!

I’m super excited to be back as the Creative Team coordinator and a member of the design team! My first project with the January 2024 kit is a pocket page spread in a heritage album I am making about my ancestors. The “story of us” acrylic is beautiful and goes perfectly with the paper collection I chose for this section of my album.

I’m starting the section with these beautiful photos of my grandparents on their wedding day. The photos have been scanned and cleaned up with Photoshop Elements. My design also includes hand stitching, fussy cut flowers and stickers. I drew the half heart on the floral paper, cut it out and stitched it before adhering to the background paper. The flower clusters are popped up with thin foam adhesive. I love this project and can’t wait to share more of it with you and my family!
