A Lime Green “Breathtaking” Layout by Emma Kate
Hello CCD fans,
We’ve got another fantastic layout from CT member Emma Kate for your viewing pleasure today. Emma is featuring the “breathtaking” acrylic from our August kit as the title for this project which is absolutely charming! Emma has some details to share below.
“Hey Color Cast Fam, I must admit lime green isn't usually a colour I would go for, but now I think I'm in love. The 'Breathtaking' title acrylic piece from the August kit is just the colour you need for a word like breathtaking!”
“My layout started with the 2 strips of patterned paper down the left hand side, from which I anchored the rest of my components. Firstly my photo, followed by the ephemera then the awesome lime green title!”
“I did however paint the back of the title with white acrylic paint before I added it because the green slightly lost its vibrancy against my photo. There was a nice little nook underneath the title so that's where I added my journalling.”
“Some of the floral ephemera pieces had black dots at their centres, so I mimicked that with some black splatters in black soot distress oxide spray, giving my page cohesion. To finish, as always a sprinkling of sparkle. Until next time, Much love, Em x”
